SEGA Genesis Classic Game Console.
Sega first released this console in Japan as Mega Drive in 1988, then introduced it to North America under the name Genesis in 1989. The Mega Drive did not fare well against Nintendo and NEC, but the Genesis was successful in North America, Brazil and Europe largely because of its large library of arcade games. It continues to be popmular among game fans, game music fans, collectors, and emulation enthusiasts. Licensed third party re-releases of the console, like this one, ared still being sold in North America and Europe and any games have been re-released.
